Locally, you could climb Thorpe Cloud or walk along the Dove Valley to Milldale. Visit Chatsworth House or Norbury Manor, maybe sail across Carsington Water or cycle the Tissington Trail. Be excited by Alton Towers or awed by a cable car ride across the Derwent Valley at Abraham Heights or wowed by the underground Caverns.

Peak District
Within a short drive you could be climbing the Derbyshire 3 peaks challenge – Bleaklow Head, Higher Shelf Stones & Kinder Scout. Cycling the Manifold Valley or High Peak Trail, walking the limestone valleys of the White Peak at Dovedale and Lathkill Dale, or the gritstone ridges and moorlands of the Dark Peak.
